(for 1 glass of ready-made sauce)
fresh or frozen cranberries 2 cups
 water 1 glass
orange 2 pcs
sugar 7 tbsp
salt 1.5 tsp
cloves 8 pcs
nutmeg 1 tsp
black pepper or dried ginger 1 tsp
dried rosemary 1 tsp or 1 fresh
juniper berries 6 pcs

Defrost frozen cranberries. Grate oranges on a fine grater, squeeze out the juice. You will need 2 teaspoons of zest and 250 ml of juice. Some of the water or juice can be replaced with grape juice or wine. Finely chop fresh rosemary. Tie all the spices in a tea bag. You can use a tea strainer. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Remove the spices, cool the sauce and beat with a blender.
